About
The Fort Whoop Up Black Powder Club is based in Lethbridge and operates a range situated in the river valley near the confluence of the St. Mary's and Oldman Rivers south of the city. The club is dedicated to keeping the tradition of black powder shooting alive, offering muzzle-loading rifle and shotgun shoots, special events, and memorial trophy competitions throughout the year. Affiliated with the Alberta Black Powder Association, the club has hosted provincial-level competitions and welcomes enthusiasts of traditional and historical shooting disciplines.
