Located on Campbell Hill overlooking Cache Creek and Elephant Mountain, the South Cariboo Sportsmen Association (SCSA) offers one of the premier outdoor shooting venues in the BC Interior. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, the facility features a fully operational, rebuilt rifle range with steel gongs and target distances stretching from 25 out to 375 yards, backed by safe earthen berms. Handgun shooters can make use of a covered pistol range with target frames accommodating distances from 7 to 50 yards as well as steel silhouettes. The association has a proud history of resilience, having successfully rebuilt its major range infrastructure through volunteer efforts and community raffles after the devastating 2017 Elephant Hill wildfire. Today, the club welcomes shooters of all skill levels, including beginners and youth, and hosts popular regional events, most notably its signature annual black powder shoot. Memberships are easily accessible and can be purchased directly through the club or at local retail outlets in Cache Creek.
