Connaught Range Primary Training Centre

The Connaught Range and Primary Training Centre is a Department of National Defence facility located in Nepean, Ontario, approximately 17 kilometres west of Ottawa. One of the premier shooting facilities in Canada, it features outdoor rifle ranges extending to 900 metres and six pistol ranges from 25 to 50 metres. Civilian access is available through the National Capital Region Rifle Association, which requires membership in the Dominion of Canada Rifle Association. Shooters transporting restricted firearms to the facility will require a special Authorization to Transport for access to the federal military property.
